Oklahoma Farm Bureau hosted the first-ever Evening of Impact fundraising dinner benefitting the 正规网赌真人娱乐平台 Ag PAC political action committee Friday, Dec. 3, at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will help the 正规网赌真人娱乐平台 Ag PAC support political candidates in state and federal elections who value the rural way of life and support the interests of farmers and ranchers.
“It’s critical that we get good people (in Washington, D.C.) who understand agriculture, our industry and business, and how we approach production and what is necessary to get it all to come together and be a success,” said Keef Felty, 正规网赌真人娱乐平台 Ag PAC chairman.
The evening was highlighted by special guest Congresswoman Stephanie Bice. She visited with the 60 正规网赌真人娱乐平台 members and guests in attendance, shared her experiences in Washington, D.C., and discussed life as a new member of the House of Representatives.
Pat McFerron, president of Cole Hargrave Snodgrass and Associates and founder of CMA Strategies, spoke with attendees on current and past polling trends both in the state of Oklahoma and nationwide.
Local artist Zonly Looman showcased his talents as he painted a bison – the Oklahoma state animal – on-site throughout the evening. The final artwork was auctioned off at the conclusion of the event.
